The cutter’s favourite. Gold 8-wale corduroy trousers, the jeans killer.

Cut in our house style, these gold corduroy trousers are made from a classic 8-wale English cord woven by Brisbane Moss in Lancashire, long regarded as the benchmark for fine corduroy. This particular gold cloth is no longer available and was secured exclusively for Redmayne.

A true English staple, it is a long-standing favourite of Redmayne’s Head Cutter, Tom Mahon, valued for its depth of colour, durability and rich handle. Unique to Redmayne, the cloth is cut against the grain, as with our bespoke trousers, giving a deeper, more luxurious appearance. Clean and contemporary in feel, the trousers are flat fronted with turn-ups, clean slanted side pockets, two hip pockets with button closure and a metal zip fastening. Fitted with belt loops and designed to be worn with a belt, they offer an easy, confident line. Casual yet smart and quietly striking, they are easier to wear than jeans yet far more refined. A timeless wardrobe essential, cut the Redmayne way.
