How Does It Work?
Our Acclaim commissions generally take between 12 to 14 weeks from initial consultation to garment in your hands.
Initial Consultation
At your first appointment with us we'll discuss your preferences and needs, whether it's a special occasion or everyday wear. Whether you're local or halfway across the globe, we'll guide you through selecting the perfect fabric and style for your suit.
Fitting Appointment
Once your garment is ready for the next stage, our team will contact you to arrange a convenient fitting appointment, where, curiously enough, the fit of your garment will be checked and assessed by your personal cutter.
Hand Finishing
Your commission returns with us to our Wigton workshop where it is then hand finished and altered as necessary. The final touch to your garment is it being pressed to perfection, and its ready to go.
Dispatch/Collection
Depending in which is most convenient, your finished garment can be sent to you or collected from either our Wigton workshop or London office. Our team will reach out to you to check your preference.
Follow UP
But that's not the end. After a couple of weeks to let your commission "settle in” our team will reach out to you to make sure you are happy with your commission. All details are noted regarding any changes for future orders.
the pinnacle of our made to measure
The pinnacle of the Redmayne Made to Measure is "The Acclaim” service. It includes all features of The 1860 but with the additional details of fitting and hand finishing bring it closer to our bespoke service. Choose from our excellent range of in-house English cloths or opt for an extra with the exclusivity of cloth from England's finest cloth merchants. After the initial consultation of your order, we'll prepare a fitting for you before your commission undergoes adjustments and final hand-finishing of edges and buttonholes in our bespoke workshop. This truly is made to measure with the look and feel of bespoke.
How Long Does It Take?
Our Acclaim service typically takes twelve to fourteen weeks for completion. The extra time is required for further fittings and specialised hand-finishing, making it the ultimate made-to-measure suit, rivaled only by our bespoke service.
Please note that cloths can occasionally be out of stock or otherwise delayed so if your commission is for a special event we advise allowing extra time.
